Carly Friend earned a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Engineering & Humanities from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. After graduating in 2022, she joined a civil engineering firm in Dallas, where she worked in the land development industry across North Texas, contributing to technical design, project coordination, and engineering cost estimates. Over the past year, she coordinated all projects for the firm’s largest client, One Mark Advisors.

Originally from New Jersey, Carly’s interest in engineering began at a young age through exposure to home development and construction. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through running, cycling, hiking, and weightlifting, as well as creative outlets like painting, drawing, writing, and cooking. She also occasionally plays the keyboard and guitar. A former Division I collegiate track athlete, she competed for four years during her time at Lehigh.

She discovered CDR after connecting on LinkedIn while exploring opportunities in California and is excited to continue developing her technical design skills while contributing to a wide range of projects with the team.
