Vanessa Garcia is a Project Engineer at CDR, having over five years of experience in the civil engineering field. A proud graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is certified as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT). Before joining CDR, she worked at Intertek PSI, where she served as an Engineering Technician for two years and a Project Manager for three. During this time, she gained extensive experience in budget monitoring, scheduling, cost estimating, proposal preparation, billing, and field personnel supervision.

Inspired by a lifelong love of math and science, and influenced by a sibling’s journey into engineering, Vanessa pursued a career where she could apply their skills to make a meaningful impact on the community. She is Orange County native, who is proud of her Mexican American heritage and enjoys spending time with family, watching sunsets, cooking, and baking!
